travel north america united states nevada sparks lodging nugget casino resort

We stayed in the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada, on our way home from the Huntsman World Senior Games in St. George, Utah, in 2025 when our usual motel in Reno was full.
The room was fine and not too expensive... there was a room charge of about $66, but then there was a resort charge of about $40 and a city tax.
While nothing special, the room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
Lynn and I spent a few minutes in the casino and I was able to turn my $25 into $129 at my old favorite slot machine, Davinci Diamonds... enough to cover the room charge.
We were so tired, we dicided not to wait to sit at the restaurant so I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs from Rosie's Cafe to take out to our room.
Surprisingly, it was very good.
